The “War on Black” addresses and highlights the psychological impact that Black Americans face, due to barriers implemented by both the state and federal government throughout history in the United States. It shed light on the ugly truth while covering honest facts. The title of this book alone, will likely do two separate things at once. I suspect that it will make some people curious and others uncomfortable. This book covers the stuff that hasn’t been traditionally taught or talked about during Black History Month or even in American history classes. This book focuses on multiple ways the government has strategically used its power to oppress Black Americans since 1865.
